McNaghten Associates: Vice President. Complete project
responsibility for office building, parking structure, retail and
other commercial structures. Project involvement includes
renovation of the historic New York Live Building, design of the
300,000 square foot Oak Park Mall parking structures, design of the
Transamerica Parking structures, design of the 290,000 square foot
high-end retail Southpoint Pavilions in Lincoln, NE and numerous
school projects throughout the greater Kansas City area.
1992-1995:
Ellerbe
Becket: Structural Project Engineer. Primary
responsibility focused on design and preparation of construction
documents for the Oregon Arena Project, home of the NBA
Trailblazers. Initially responsible for specification
preparation and working drawing production. Directed work of
other engineers and draftspersons. Assumed full project
responsibility near end of Construction Document Phase.
Responsible for coordinating all aspects of Construction
Administration Phase. Additional project involvement included
design development drawings for Kiel Arena in St. Louis, MO,
construction document preparation for the Gateway Arena in Cleveland
Ohio, and as part of the seismic response team hired by Los Angeles
County after the 1994 Northridge earthquake.
1982-1992:
Seiden
and Page, Inc.: Structural Project Engineer. Responsible
for structural analysis and design of low to mid rise commercial
building structures. Utilized both manual and computer
techniques in developing proficiency with concrete, steel, timber and
masonry. Prepared and directed the preparation of construction
documents, reviewed shop drawings and performed field
inspections. Project involvement ranged from single story steel
framed shopping malls to a 42 story concrete office tower. Spent
18 months (1986 to 1988) as an owners representative during
construction of a new automobile assembly plant.
