Utilized manual methods and computer analysis to design foundations and structures of concrete, steel, wood and masonry. Reviewed shop drawings, performed field inspections and responded to construction questions. KCMO Codes Administration Special Inspector.

Technology Plus, Inc.: Structural Project Engineer.  Responsible for structural analysis and design of structures and foundations for industrial equipment and piping. Designed slab foundations for commercial buildings and performed storm water run-off calculations for the surrounding sites. Utilized manual methods and computer analysis to design concrete pier foundations and steel frame structures. Directed work of technicians and draftspersons. Reviewed shop drawings, performed field inspections and responded to Construction Contractor questions.

 

1992 - Oct. 1995:

Black & Veatch: Structural Project Engineer.  Responsible for structural analysis and design of new and existing electrical transmission line structures.  Designed drilled pier foundations and lattice steel and tubular transmission structures.  Utilized manual methods and computer analysis to design/analyze new and existing transmission lines of steel and wood structures.
