As President of PMA, David's responsibilities include managing the day to day operations of the office, as well as providing project oversight for many of the firm's projects. David brings considerable experience in the design of office buildings, retail developments, and other commercial building structures. In addition, David has extensive knowledge related to the renovation of existing building structures.
His project involvement includes the renovation of two of Kansas City's landmark historic buildings: the New York Life building and the Western Auto building, both on the National Register of Historic Places. Licensed in 23 states, David has designed large retail developments from Florida to Wisconsin, designed commercial office space, educational facilities, health care facilities, parking structures and government facilities throughout the country.
Prior to 1995, David held the position of Structural Project Engineer at Seiden and Page, Inc. and at Ellerbe Becket. His primary responsibility was the design and preparation of construction and specification documents. Projects included: the Oregon Arena Project, home of the NBA Trailblazers; design development for Kiel Arena in St. Louis, MO; the Gateway Arena in Cleveland Ohio; and as a member of the seismic response team hired by Los Angeles County following the 1994 Northridge earthquake. David has also been responsible for the structural analysis and design of commercial buildings and office towers. He has proficiency with all building materials including concrete, steel, timber and masonry.

As Vice President and new co-owner of PMA, Jeff brings almost two decades of structural design experience ranging from office buildings and retail developments to renovations and industrial structures. Jeff is currently licensed in 21 states and has complete responsibility for many of the firm's projects including private developments and government facilities. Having true passion for his work, and being a stickler for details, Jeff leads the quality control effort for the company and helps develop and maintain the high office standards for which PMA is known. His talents include a strong background in structural analysis and design and he is also skilled at project management and client relationships. Jeff has a wide diversity of experience with projects ranging from the award-winning Signature office building in downtown Topeka, KS to the life size Argentinosaurus dinosaur skeleton that sits astride the entrance to the T-Rex restaurant at the Legends in Kansas City, KS. Jeff is also responsible for millions of square feet of destination/lifestyle developments throughout the country.

Together, David and Jeff have formed a team of like-minded individuals whose primary goal is to provide their clients with quality engineering services while maintaining sound engineering principles and attention to customer satisfaction. David or Jeff are personally involved with every project undertaken by PMA. While endeavoring to grow in this industry, they are continually seeking, training and developing talented individuals who exemplify the traits and high standards of PMA.
